Marlies Cowley

Marlies Cowley joined the Soto Law Group in 2014 as the Client Services Director/ Paralegal. Once you become a client you will be working with Marlies in gathering the information necessary for your estate plan or court case. She assists with our estate planning, probate/conservatorship, and trust administration clients. Marlies answers many questions and wears many hats. Whether its preparing for a signing ceremony, closing out an estate, or assisting with the many questions that may arise for a probate or conservatorship matter, Marlies is able to provide support and prepare you to meet with our attorneys.

Marlies graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Arts in History and completed the UC Irvine Extension Paralegal certificate program. She started her career in 2010 at a boutique estate planning law firm in Beverly Hills specializing in conservatorships and guardianships. She has 7 years-experience working in estate planning.

In her free time, Marlies enjoys outdoor activities including tennis, paddle boarding in Newport Back Bay, and hiking with her husband James and Corgi, Teddy.
